Search Overview
The KommerceServer Storefront provides powerful search options that allow you to tailor how your customers can quickly and efficiently find your products. The Item Class Advanced Search Definition page allows you to specify extended properties for an item class as searchable fields. The Search Property Configuration page allows you to rank your search results by specific search properties so they will be displayed either higher or lower in search results, depending on the ranking you assign to them. The Search Term Replacement page allows you to define search term replacement keywords or phrases in order to account for phonetic or other misspellings that users might make when searching for a product. Using these powerful search options will help you to enable your customers to quickly and easily find exactly what they are looking for in your online store.
